The Her Energy Speaks Scholarship was created to uplift and empower students who have faced challenges but continue to rise through service, authenticity, and resilience. Education was the bridge that changed my story - and now, I want to help others write theirs. 

This year, I will award scholarships to students who:

• Demonstrate leadership through community service 
• Show resilience in the face of adversity 
• Embody the mission of using their energy to uplift others 

 📌 Who can apply: 

• High school juniors/seniors or current undergraduate students
• Must be a U.S. citizen 
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 
• Must demonstrate involvement in community service, leadership, or advocacy.
• Applicants must identify a challenge they’ve faced (such as financial hardship, health, family, or personal adversity) and how they’ve grown from it.

📌 Requirements: 

• Completed Online Application 
• Essay (500–750 words) OR Video (2–3 minutes) answering:

“How has adversity shaped who you are today, and how do you plan to use your voice, energy, and leadership to impact your community?”

• One Letter of Recommendation from a teacher, mentor, employer, or community leader.
• Current Transcript (official or unofficial is fine).
• Proof of Community Involvement (examples: service hours log, letter from an organization, or description of a project you led/participated in).

•  Scholarship must be used for educational purposes only (college tuition, books, supplies, vocational programs).
• Applicants must agree to allow Her Energy Speaks to share their story on the website/social media if selected.
• Winners must provide a short thank-you video or written reflection within 30 days of receiving the award.
• Scholarship recipients may be asked to participate in future Her Energy Speaks events as mentors or speakers.

1. Use of Funds: Scholarship funds must be applied directly toward educational expenses, including tuition, books, fees, or approved academic programs. Funds may not be transferred, sold, or used for personal expenses.
    
2. Eligibility Verification: All application materials submitted must be truthful and accurate. Her Energy Speaks reserves the right to verify eligibility, including academic records, community involvement, and recommendation letters.
    
3. Selection Process: Scholarship recipients are chosen at the sole discretion of the Her Energy Speaks Scholarship Committee. Meeting eligibility requirements does not guarantee selection.
    
4. Non-Discrimination Policy: Applicants will not be discriminated against based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, disability, or other protected status.
    
5. Media & Publicity Release: By applying, applicants grant Her Energy Speaks the right to share their name, likeness, and submitted materials (essay/video) for promotional purposes if selected as a recipient.
    
6. Non-Transferable: Awards are non-transferable and must be used by the recipient only.
    
7. Right to Revoke: Her Energy Speaks reserves the right to revoke the scholarship in cases of academic dishonesty, misrepresentation, or misuse of funds.
    
8. Liability Release: By applying, applicants agree to release Her Energy Speaks, its founders, board members, and affiliates from any liability arising from the application process, award distribution, or use of funds.
    
9. Final Decisions: All scholarship decisions are final. No appeals or reconsiderations will be granted.
    
10. Amendments: Her Energy Speaks reserves the right to update, amend, or cancel the scholarship program at any time without prior notice.
